Day 1 - Arrive Cochin

On arrival at cochin we will assist you with hotel check-in formalities. (Standard check-in time is 12h00) In the afternoon proceed for Hal day sightseeing visits to Mattenchery Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch Palace Santa Cruz Basilican church. A church built originally by the Portuguese and elevated to a Cathedral by Pope Paul IV in 1558. Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar (approx 150 kms / 5 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel Drive to Munnar where you will enjoy it’s carpeted emerald green plantations set an altitude of 6000ft in Idukki District On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure Overnight at hotel

Day 3 - Munnar

Breakfast at hotel Visit Ervakulam National Park. This park has a rolling hill plateau with an elevation of 2000ft. Three major tupes of plant communities are found in the park - grassland, scrublands and forests. The park has various population of endangered Nilgiri Tahr including other little know fauna Nilgiri marten, ruddy mongoose, small clawed otter, dusky striped squirrel and many more In the afternoon visit a tea plantation and tea factory (closed on Mondays). Munnar is perhaps the choicest of places to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects of the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala’s high ranges Overnight stay at hotel

Day 4 -Munnar - Thekkady (approx 110 kms / 3 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel Drive to Thekkady. It is located at an altitude of 700m above sea level. Thekkady is home to a wildlife sanctuary and it is famous for spice plantations. This area is also great for walks in the mountains On arrival check in at hotel. The afternoon can be spent taking a boat ride at Lake Periyar In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance. A classical form of dance describing ancient Hindu mythology. This form of dance shows the rich tradition and culture of India Overnight stay at hotel

Day 5 - Thekkady - Alleppey (approx 95 kms / 2 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel Post breakfast visit a spice plantation with a naturalist. This tour gives you an insight into spices like cardamom, pepper, turmeric etc. Later drive to Alleppey (Venice of the East) and home to a vast network of waterways. On arrival embark on a houseboat. Called Kettuvalam it is a traditional boat made from coir rope and knots, not nails are used in the entire structure of the boat The cruise will take you through small water canals and while cruising you can see small villages and witness village people going about their daily routines Dinner and overnight on board

Day 6 - Alleppey - Kovalam (approx 180 kms / 4.5 hrs)

Post breakfast on boat, drive to Kovalam Kovalam has beautiful beaches, Ayurveda resorts, and a beautiful lighthouse surrounded by small fishermen villages Evening will be at leisure to relax Overnight stay at hotel

Day 7 - Kovalam

Breakfast at hotel Post breakfast excursion to Kanyakumari. Enrolee visit Padamnabhpuram Palace and Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial Padamnabgpuram Palace is made of teakwood.
